BLAST CLEANING

Our CO2 Cleaning system works on the same philosophy as an abrasive media blaster, or as a high pressure washer, except it utilizes food grade quality CO2, converted into ice pellets (Drice Pellets) for the blasting media, or our block shaver, utilizing shaved drice ice for more delicate blast/cleaning.

There are three important features of CO2 cleaning. The first lies in the natural properties of the CO2, in that it will sublimate into the atmosphere without adding to the level of CO2 in our atmosphere. Second, CO2 cleans without leaving any excess residue for clean-up or disposal. Third CO2 cleaning will not mar any surface.

Features offered by CO2 Cleaning Services, Inc. that others do not offer relates to our high pressure blasting capabilities consisting of 400 cfm per blast unit and up to 350 psi.

  • Equipment can be cleaned without inducing additional cleaners, water or solvents, which increases the cost and volume of materials to be disposed of. This type of cleaning is ideal for the refurbishing of stone, brick, copper and many other facial finishing’s with out marring the surface.

  • With the use of a food grade quality cleaning media, the extra cost to retain or capture cleaning fluids are eliminated.

  • The cost savings for packaging, transporting and disposal of contaminated blast media, wash/rinse water, solvents and other cleaning agents is eliminated

  • By the use of CO2 as a cleaning agent and its -130 degree temperature, it there by eliminates Mold & Bacteria which would occur following the cleaning with water or steam.

  • By the use of the CO2 system, this will also eliminate the need for static or heated air drying after the cleaning process. Our systems are oil and moisture free.

  • Our CO2 systems are ideal for power generating stations and electrical controls, as the CO2 system is non-conductive for the cleaning of insulators, transformers, switch gear, cooling coils, buss assemblies, motors, stator units, control panels.

  • The CO2 offers the cost saving ability to strip and remove lead base paint and other coating materials, and with the use of a secondary recovery system utilizing HEPA vacuum filter units for air born particles.

  • In applications where LEL vapors are present or encountered, the CO2 system will eliminate these conditions at a less expensive means for the controlling of these conditions and eliminating the flammable or explosive conditions.

  • A key consideration is the ability of our CO2 system to clean and remove the adhered material from equipment, walls, containers, floors, etc., with out marring the surface where the material is being removed from.
